    I created a slideshow using Wondershare Photostory. The image is stretched horizontally(people are fat). There was no option to select the aspect ratio. DVDPatch won't recognize the file. Thanks.

    All I know is that it has AVI extension. Perhaps the problem is the aspect ratio of the pictures is 3002:2000. I already converted it to MPEG2 using TMPGencPlus and flagged it to 4:3. Seemed to work.

    Most digital still cameras take shots with a 4:3 AR, although many also have a 3:2 option as well. If you are working in 16:9 then you either need to crop or reframe in the slideshow software (and not all are smart enough to do this), or crop outside the slideshow program.
