hello, I tried looking for a solution for this but I find it hard to find any info about this when I used the Search function of this site.

I want to integrate a subtitle .SRT file onto a video file, of AVI format. This, I have no problem doing based on the tutorials on this site for VirtualDub and VobSub.

However, I can't seem to be able to change the style of the fonts for encoding even though I picked and choose the colour and fonts in the "Style" section after selecting TextVob in the Add Filters. It still ouputs with default font and colour after encoding.

I was just wandering If someone can help. Or at least point me in the right direction.

    Thank you.

    srt subs have no stylings,
convert to ass subs, use aegisub,
    style,
    save out,
    then import into vdub.

  3. Another option is to use avidemux

It has a subtitler filter which allows you to have color, size, position and fonts with srt subs natively
