I'm hoping someone on this forum can help me out with this.
I was watching the lotr and oceans 11 svcd's and noticed that the quality was extremely high for an svcd, i read somewhere that only 2 pass vbr @2650 was used with 480x480 res, i've encoded svcd's at twice that bitrate w/ 2 pass vbr and they dont look half as good as those two.
Most of my material is 3.6mbs DV footage, and i was wondering if there is a specific setting in tmpgenc that can encode svcd's that well with no blockyness.
Thanks
