Does anyone know the reason one video editor is faster then another, same settings, same format etc ??
Such as Virtualdub vs DR.Divx
When I take a movie, same divx settings, Virtualdub converts 9-14 fps opposed to Dr.Divx converting at 39-42 fps ?
For this reason, I use 10 diffrent video editing programs, cause one performs better then another for different formats.
Such as TMPGEnc is super fast converting mpeg-1 opposed to Nero Vision 5, but Nero Vision 5 is faster then TMPGEnc mpeg-2 format.
Can someone recommend an optimal all format convertor for every fomat conversion. My computer is turning into a online video software store, Lol,. WMV to Avi convertor (Allok Soft) works very fast, but the max bitrate is 2500.
Thanks
