I've got a rendering project of animation for work.
When I burn files 13-16 with ConvertXDVD it gets to 37.6% every time then hangs
    and crashes.

I tried fixing the files with Video Fixer 3.21 and no luck, same hang at 37.6%

Even on a different computer, no idea what's wrong with them.

What format (Codec) are they using? Most 'video fixer' programs just fix the index. Your file may have more problems. Can you open it in VirtualDub Mod? More information about the file format would help. A screen shot from Gspot posted here may help. Or try MediaInfo.

    And welcome to our forums.

Try updating your G-Spot. The current version provides a lot more information about the file that the old 2.21 you are using.

  9. When you use the "check" function in video fixer, it should tell you if the file is ok or has an error - that way you might be able to narrow down the problem

Can you play the problem file back in mpc or vlc? Is it seekable? Is there a glitch at a certain time?

If it is playable, you might get around the problem by frameserving and encoding into an intermediate file for that error file, and using that intermediate file as input into convertx. (e.g. use directshowsource() and avisynth) - actually if that works, you could directly enter the .avs for the problem file(s) as input into convertx

The check function comes back as the file is fixable. No errors display in the log window. The files play fine as well in both mpc and vlc.

    I'll check into it thankyou!
