I have a sequence in Premiere Pro that I need to take to Encore DVD.
Should I encode my videos in Premiere Pro 1.5 or should export > movie and then let Encore transcode it?
Why let Premiere Pro encode and not Encore? Why let Encore trancode and not Premiere Pro?

Normally you would encode to DVD MPeg2 in PPro and author in Encore.Originally Posted by vid83Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

1.) Is there a reason I should not let Encore do the transcoding?

2.) Is Premiere Pro faster at encoding than Encore? I did a test transcoding once and transcoding with Encore took 4 hours for a 60 minute video.
