  1. I have an *.MP4 movie file of the 1920's silent vampire classic, "Nosferatu" which I got off BitTorrent. Tried playing it in three different players w/ different results: If played in Media Player Classic, it acts like it's stuck in fast-forward w/ choppy audio (has a score); Winamp plays audio-only @ normal speed; VLC plays video-only @ normal speed. And Gspot seems to be unable to determine what codecs are needed. Any other ideas (WinXP Home SP3 PC)?

Edit: If anyone can find it on BT to test, the filename is "nosferatuVCD_256kb.mp4."

  3. It tells me that it's MPEG-4 Visual w/ AAC V.4 audio. Installing an AAC codec (CoreAAC) fixed the playback in MPC. The other two players are still the same.
