I'm using 3GP Converter to convert some .avi movies to .mp4 for my ipod and I have a problem that happens with a few videos where it squeezes the picture and looks like junk when I watch it. I don't really know why it's doing that and since theres not really much settings in 3GP I'm not sure how to fix it.
Any suggestions?

Look for a setting for "keep aspect ratio". I have used the program before but don't remember the configuration settings. You probably have a crop setting checked by mistake.

Also - is it a 4:3 square ipod or a 16:9 widescreen ipod?Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I think it's a 4:3.. I got it about a year back.. its 30GB iPod classic or something.
I'll look for those settings now and get back to ya

I found some option but nothing with aspect ratio
 here they are

EDIT : I'm starting to use xvid4psp now.. it has tons more settings with even a 2 pass mode which is nice
