I have a DVD (playable in DVD player) with (therefore) VOB files. The content is my own, shot by me, and written to DVD WITHOUT copyright protection. This is the only copy left as the original material has been lost.

FFMPEGX refuses to accept the DVD because it says in accordance with international copyright laws it is illegal to extract the video.

The content and copyright are mine! What can I do? Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    sydman

Try copying the video_ts folder to your hard drive and then extracting.
