    Does anybody know why i can hear sound,but see no video,when i try to play some avi/divx files?

    you need the codecs.

    go to the tools section and scroll down to the codecs section and get DivX 3.11 Alpha, DivX 4.x, and the smr patch

    note
    do not allow DivX 4.x to decode DivX 3.11 content

    Thank you,i have installed DIVX 4.12 + the Playa,and i have told it not to decode divx 3.11(i had that codec) is that ok?? What does SMR patch do??

    the smr patch will allow you to play video that was encoded using the navi method.

    the group shadowrealm releases re-encodes and original rips using this, if you see (smr) in the title you will need the smr patch to view it.
