Ok i have a mp4 file, video is x264 and audio is aac.

The framerate is some weird number like 23,976 and i think that is the whole problem. Since i have to use Directshow to open it in Vdub, i think it cannot detect the right framerate and so in the end Vdub is making the clip out of sync. So does anyone know a way to open it with the right framerate? Tried setting in in the avs file with framerate= but then i get some error from vdub. So any thoughts because i'am out

    Thx in advance

    Hi there.

Please post a screenshot of the error message(s) presented by VirtualDub.

AFAIK there is nothing uncommon in "standardized" non-integer framerates
such as 23.976, 24.975 or 29.97 fps. Unless you really mean you wrote "23comma976"
    in your AVS script
