I want to cut scenes from some movies I have which come in VOB files.
I also have some MPEGS that I downloaded
So I want to put them on a disc, maybe with a basic menu where I can select the file I want to play on nornal dvd players.
Dont want to change output format or anything, just want to keep quality as it is.

You have a couple of options.

Many mainstream dvd authoring apps allow for direct vob imports. You just load the vob and make your dvd how you want to. Tmpgenc Dvd Author is such a program.

You can also use something like mpg2cut2 for easy editing without reencoding. Than you can take the output and use the authoring program you want.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
