I have vedio of my son's birthday at the bowling alley, what I want to do is try to get the audio as close as possible to hollywood movie style audio. Just like they do for live news are shows audio. where you don't have that hollow or echo sound. Can someone pls help

You need to start with a time machine and a budget that will cover getting far better audio recording equipment than your average camcorder has. Then go back and record the event using this equipment.
Once you begin editing, throw away most of what you recorded, and replace it with professionally recorded audio effects, re-record any dialogue you did get clearly on-site, and Bob's your father's brother.
If you are hoping to clean up your current recording and get it back to a professional state, sorry, but that horse has bolted. You might be able to smooth off some of the really rough edges with some clever EQ work in your audio editor - try Audacity if you don't have one yet - but most of the damage has been done.Read my blog here.

Once you're in Audacity, experiment with the following effects: Dynamic Range Compression and Limiting. It'll make the sound somewhat closer to news programs. guns1inger is right, however. Fixing it in post doesn't work as well as avoiding the problems during filming.
