Talk to the vendor that sold this to you. I see no USA distribution.

  5. Please no CAPS its shouting.
It sounds like the conversion circuititry is cutting in for some reason
get back to the vendor and get your money back.
Unsupported rear projection systems will be nothing but grief.
As far as I could find there is no authorized distrbutor for this model anywhere in NA.
Rear projection systems are beautiful TVs but will cost you big $$$ when something goes wrong.

Are they dots or is it little square pixelization? This would be from a bad signal and happens on all digital tv's if there are atmospheric conditions, bad cables or weak signal for any reason and is normal. Does it happen on all channels or just a few? I regularly have the pixelization problems on a few select channels. If this is not the problem, contact the people you regeistered with. I have been having this problem a bit more the past few days but we have been having thunderstorms too. Also, if there is sunspot activity it may interfere with the signal.

These are the owners of the web site. contact them to return the TV. Also advise E-BAY that the unit was defective.
As far as I can tell They are not listed as authorized diatributors for Kolin Olevia. Of course web sites often are a little slow in posting new info.
I contacted some friends and they could not find any data on your set. That said expect $850. to $1600 to get it repaired.
Best bet is to send it back where you got it and cancel the credit card charge.

Good idea. Also, maybe contact the dish company before you go thru the trouble of returning the TV. I had a buddy that had all sorts of reception problems with his satellite TV. It took 3 visits before they sent an expert who straightened the problem out. The first 2 were local outside contractors for the Satellite company who didn't know Jack Shit. They sometimes do that because they don't have local offices. Good luck.

I got Google translate to work on a Chinese Kolin PT-501 site. Is this your TV? Is so, What signal are you feeding to it? Is this a high definition Dish satellite tuner?

    http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&u=http://www.ehomecn.com/Article/...1%2B%26hl%3Den

I find it amazing how well Google translate worked on that page.

This the Chinese manual. Google can't translate a PDF.

I have a Kolin 50" projection TV that is about 5 months old. Recently when you start it up there are several clicks from inside and finally the light on front blinks 3 times red and 1 time green, but will not start up. What does this mean?

It means you call Kolin for diagnosis and warranty support.
