i would like some advice/opinions on which custom firmware, that gives best results and features i found a site dedicated to this DVD player (see link) but need some advice

First, any "hacked" firmware will void your warranty.
Second, there likely isn't a "best" firmware. It will simply boil down to which "version" contains the fix for whatever issue you are having.
As noted on numerous occasions, if you aren't having any issues or if you don't know for sure that a different firmware corrects an issue that you are having, do NOT update. Simply updating to have the latest version is not recommended.Google is your Friend -
OK thanks for the reply i have picked the fimware that supports longfile names and ISO resume play

But cases of damage of the laser are known at the inattentive (not carefully checked or not carefully mixed) change firmware !
How with it at yours "handmade" firmware?
