    Hello,
I've bought a year ago a SAMSUNG DVD player E435.
It wasn't cheap and I would like to know if it is possible to read DIVX movies.
    Thanks,

No...it can't be changed. It either supports Divx or it doesn't.

The Samsung E435 does not support DIVX.

And there isn't a way to change it. Perhaps, with a firmware? No one here knows if it is possible?

    No, it's not possible.

In a set-top DVD player, DivX/Xvid decoding and playback is done mainly by hardware. A player that doesn't handle DivX/Xvid/MPEG-4 playback out of the box isn't likely to have the hardware to support it, so a firmware change won't be able to add it.
