I was wondering if there are any programs (preferably command-line based) that allows me to mux the audio and video streams together?

    Thanks.

    Yes.

Ask a generic question, get a generic answer.

If you want something more specific, you need to provide details.

    What type of video ?
    What type of audio ?
Into what type of container ?
    On what platform ?

Oh, sorry. I extracted the video into an Xvid Avi file, and the audio into a mp3 file. I wish to mux both streams into another Xvid Avi file.

I been looking into MEncoder, but I can't find the parameters to specify the audio input file.

virtualdubmod, open avi, choose video->direct stream copy, add the audio under streams->streams list, save as a new avi.

Look at the syntax in this script. It uses Divxmux. https://forum.videohelp.com/images/guides/p1613904/avi_gain_v07.rar
