  1. hi bros,

    i have dvd recorder sony RDR-HX750 but i have a small question .

    i have 2 choices , i can record on DVD disc and on HDD but i want to know what if i need to record the film from HDD to the disc how i can do this ?

    or there is any other facility to transfer the files which i recorded to the computer ?

  2. Do you have the instruction manual, or can you go to the Sony website and download it? That would be the most helpful thing for you. The RDR-HX750 is similar to several Pioneer models, although I believe Sony uses different on-screen displays. Most likely, you need to go to the "home" or "main" menu and select a "copy" option, in this case "HDD to DVD". The recorder will present you with a list of programs you have stored on the HDD, you select the ones you want to copy and then confirm the burn, it will then make a DVD for you which must be "finalized" using another menu option. It can get a little complicated sometimes, like if the program on your HDD cannot fit a DVD you have to make additional choices to fix that. This is why you should get the instruction manual, it explains these things in detail.

    There isn't any direct way to move programs from your Sony recorder to a PC, you will need to make a DVD first which can then be "ripped" to a PC for further authoring.
