    I'm having a problem with step 3. I don't see any tabs on the sides of the front cover. Just the release button and the big green thing below it.

    Dumb question, but...you are looking at the inside of the case , right? There's a metal plate on the front behind the plastic cover. The tabs stick through slots on the metal plate. You have to push the tabs a bit to slide them through the slots in the frame.
    Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
