I'm using DVDFab 4 Platinum. If I try to rip an entire title (like all of the chapters in a title) I get audio desync later on in the video. This does not happen if I just rip 1 or 2 chapters. I'm ripping to xvid mp3 format and am using 1 pass encoding (for speed). I have 384 mb ram and a 500 mhz pentium 3 cpu so I dont know if my specs could be causing a problem. My DMA was accidentally turned off awhile ago but DVDFab informed me of this and I turned it back on. I don't know if that helps. I'm also using an Optiarc DVD burner so I dont know if that is a problem either. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

DVDfab is not the greatest dvd to avi xvid converter. I would instead rip the dvd to the hdd using dvdfab and then convert using AutoGK.

Sorry for the late response here but I was talking on irc and someone mentioned people not thanking people who post responses to questions on forums. Thank you so much for recommending this program. It can take a long time to convert a single layer dvd on my slow pentium 3 500 mhz but it's well worth the wait. Again, thank you for your help.
