  1. I'm useing TMPGEnc. to convert avi to mpg but last night i dowload a avi video with a (mm) in the name and I tryed to convert it to a mpg and an error message when opening come up im not sure wich patch i need,, can anyone help me?

    now im pretty sure that this solution consists of far to much effort on your part so i think instead what you should do is just delete the file.

  5. Since you didin't give what version of tmpgenc you have, I'll guess you have the newest version.

    So in short your answer is:

    Versions of tmpgenc above 12j does not support divx.

    for the record ALL versions of TMPGEnc support DivX
