	AVStoDVD, as explained in the Help section (press F1), decides from its own which video encoding profile is better, looking at output video bitrate:

 up to 4500 kbps -> HCenc VBR 2-pass
 from 4500 to 6000 kbps -> HCenc OPV 1-pass
 above 6000 kbps -> QuEnc CBR 1-pass

 In the 'Settings'/'Encoding' tab you can customize those bitrate ranges, NOT select one them as default profile.

 If you want to override default AVStoDVD profile selection, you have to:
 - load your file
 - press the 'Edit Title' button (on the right)
 - go to 'Video' tab
 - toggle off 'Auto Video Setup'
 - select your favourite 'Video Encoding Profile'

 Btw, if projected video bitrate is over 8000 kbps, I strongly suggest you to use QuEnc. HCenc is a very good choich when dealing with low bitrates, but with high bitrate QuEnc is faster and good enogh.
