I've been trying to do a nice conversion of this anime widescreen movie I have, Knockin on Heaven's Door. The stats are...
640 x 360, 24 Bits, 205817 Frames, 29.970 Frames/Sec, 86KB/Sec DIVXMPG4 V3
I load up TMPGEnc and use the avi for video and sound, load NTSC Video CD, for motion search precision I use Highest Quality. The problem I have is under the advanced tab...
I choose 1:1 VGA for source aspect ratio, and for video arrange method, I choose Center [custom size] 320x164, but when I view it on television its a little too short, the subtitles are WAAAY to hard to read. Ive also tried... 352 x 198 for custom size. It's too wide and stuff gets cut off but it is the perfect height, very easy to read subtitles and stuff. Any suggestions on how I can make it perfectly the way I want? I could shrink the height a little but I just dunno what width and height and stuff. Any help is appreciated!
