First EDGe Program Release Helps Enhance Sonic's Scenarist High-Definition Authoring Platform

Novato, California (April 15, 2008) — Sonic Solutions® (NASDAQ: SNIC), the leader in digital media software, today announced the release of Lemony Pro, a comprehensive suite of powerful subtitling applications. Lemony Pro is the first in a series of innovative applications and utilities slated for release through Sonic's Extended Developer Group (EDGe) program. The EDGe program supports third-party developers releasing products that extend the capabilities of Sonic's Scenarist® authoring platform and help streamline the creation of advanced Blu-ray Disc (BD) titles.

Nice to see a great company like Sonic ( the professional program for dvd creation, Scenarist) got some interest in increasing their field, investing in subtitling area too. :P

Of course, the'll have great competitors, like the professional one: Cavena and Softni companies, kind of leaders in that area.
