Try uninstalling, then reinstalling tversity. I don't know if it will help, but worth a try. Also check your firewall and make sure it's not blocking. XP3 adds some security and that may be causing a problem if it doesn't recognize what you are doing. I don't have a clue what net 3.5 is doing.

BTW, edit out those two 'img' tags and your link should work. But I needed the translation anyway.

You aren't really missing much by not having SP3. It's mostly all the updates from SP2 on, added to one source file. If you have been doing regular updates, you would have most all of it anyway. Probably safer that way also. Then, if the problem surfaces again, you may be able to trace it to a specific Windows update. If it's working for you at present, that's good enough.

Just a thought, though. If you have a high speed connection, DSL or cable, you really should have a firewall of some sort. I regard a firewall as important as a antivirus program. With a router, you should have a hardware firewall. If not, a software firewall is a good idea. Even Windows firewall, which, IMO, is inadequate, is much better than none at all. A firewall is your first line of defense. It can block some malware before your anti-virus/anti-trojan program needs to deal with it. A firewall is your first line of defense.
