    ok im trying to rip some of "The Office" episodes with DVD fab (up to date) and these genericsettings:
    avi, xvid, source audio, 2-pass
    the problem is when i watch it, the sound is so low, i have to turn the volume almost half way to hear reasonably.
    and there is no 2 channel audio option.. only ac3/5.1... and im using headphones.
    i really dont know if thats the problem, but i think it is

    im still not convinced this program is the best to use to rip a movie, but its the only one that makes it easy when i have multiple titles and is fast
    if anyone can help me.. thnx[/i]

    Personal view : DVDFab is not worth paying for. DVDFab HD Decrypter is pretty good for ripping now that it isn't so much of blunt object, but the encoding features in DVDFab are, frankly, rubbish.

    I would use DVDFab to rip the disc, then AutoGK to encode it to Xvid. You can tell AutoGK to give you two channel MP3 audio if that is what you want.

    thanks guns, im gonna try that right now

    EDIT : Worked perfect. For future if anyone has the same problem:
    1) Ripped titles with Main Menu with DVDFab or DVDFab HD Decrypter
    2) Used AutoGK and converted to AVI

    Ok well I'm having trouble again.. I'm trying to rip a movie now and i can't get it down to only 2 channels. Again, ripping with DVDFab showed no option to select only 2 channels, only 5.1. Here's my settings for AutoGK:
    Predefined size = 1/4 DVDR (1120MB)
    Output Res = Auto, Output Audio = Auto
    Codec = Xvid

    Any idea how to get it down to 2 ch?
    thanks again

    Change the audio to CBR MP3 and you will get two channels.
