    Is it possible to convert Swish (.swf) files to DVD mpeg2 compliant avi's using full screen animation for "First Play" in DVDit PE.?

    yes, but you need to get flash (not just the player) you might need to ajust your export size but it should be possible export it to .mov and then convert away.
    (i'm assuming flash can read swishe swf and not only the other way around...)

    there's ways to unprotect. forgot the webpage, but it has alot of Flash tools on it. sorry can't be of more help. i tried exporting a Flash file to AVI once, didn't work out too well. hopefully you have more luck (i hated Flash then and now just don't care for making them so i was biased).
