Can anyone help - a TV music series I want to buy - 'How Music Works' - is only issued by the programme maker and costs £40 (!)

I trust the company releasing the DVDs but their email, when quoting the title and price said 'The DVDs are Region Zero PAL discs and should be able to be played on any multi-standard DVD player'.

My player is a Panasonic DMR - EX75 and I can't find anything in the handbook that suggests it will play the DVDs I want to order ... and £40 is a lot of money to spend and find they won't play! I'd be quite happy to watch the DVDs on my Compaq laptop, but again, I'm not sure - such ignorance!

    Any advice would be great!
    Thanks
    Terri

Very few players have trouble with region free/region zero discs....VERY VERY few. And if you are in the UK as your profile suggests....you are in PAL territory so....I'd order them.
