    Just having a problem with the sound and the video arnt in syncrinization. The sound is about a half second before the video. This is in the mpeg i get after using TMPGE. Any help would be appreciated

    there is an easier way by opening the settings and going into the advanced tab you can check off source range then double click it to find the audio gap correction setting that can be used to move the sync of the audio back or forward. this is how you correct a skew but if the audio gets progressivly more and more out of sync you will need to use the method in that link.
