Xtasy Everything is what it's called...it sales for about 190.00$. It says "real time mpeg2 compression" in the description, does anyone have any more information on this card, or experiences? Thanks!

No, its not a hardware capture card... the only MPEG-2 hardware capture card that I know of is the Dazzle DVCII. The everything uses the WinDVR software to capture MPEG-2.
I got this card about a month ago and have been really pleased so far. I have a P-4 1.4ghz 256mb rambus system and MPEG-2 captures at 720x480 have come out great. On one capture there was a problem with the low freq. audio, but I think that was more a result of my settings and not the card's fault. I paid 172 on pricewatch.com -
Thanks for the info. There are several hardware cards available, I was just hoping to have found another option for me...Can you by chance post some clips from your captures so we can see, with the specs on your capture? Thanks!
