    Just thought you might want to know before you install it. It is alot faster, but is it worth the loss? I guess I could just use IE7 to download youtube vids.

    What uses Realplayer anymore?
    Even then, I'd use the Real Alternative codecs.

    Realplayer comes so full of spyware/crapware that it's a nuisance to have.

    youtube uses flv (Flash), rather that Real.

    I have actually never been to a site that used Real. The only Real Player videos that I saw were some really low-quality bootlegs a friend downloaded from kazaa (and yes, he is learning disabled)

    Anti virus programs should add Realplayer to the virus list and remove it automatically. Realplayer is a real pest.
