Hello,
How can I make a video playback run in a different speed? I would prefer x1.3 or x1.5
The players I have are:
Windows Media Player
Media Player Classic
VLC
thanks!

I don't think you can with those players.
You can do 10% increments/decrements with mplayer/smplayer by pressing "[" and "]" -
VLC lets you double the speed by using the Faster button (fast forward). Click once for 2 times, click again for 4 times etc.
Media Player Classic will play back at 2 times using ctrl+up and ctrl+down.
The KM Player uses shift Num + and shift Num - to move up and down in 5% increments, which makes it the most versatile.Read my blog here.

Avisynth's "AssumeFPS()" ++ "sync_audio=true" also work pretty well in
VirtualDub or Media Player Classic.
