    I am definately a 'newbie' and also a bit of an idiot when it comes to all this new technology...I am an old lady - please take pity on me...lol.....BUT why is it that the TV programs I record on my new DVD recorder do not play back on all my players...or on my lap-top?* They play back fine on the one I recorded them on and on one other I have, but not on the third one.* Also, when I tried to lend a recording to a friend he was unable to play it on his.* This doesn't make sense to me.... * Please help.T.
