    does anyone know a region hack for the philips 3150V?, ive been searching everywhere i can think and cant seem to find one and i really want to play my import dvd's from japan on my dvd player

    Hmm... it's not looking good for this player. If you wait, eventually one may show up somewhere. I'm a little surprised as Philips players in the past have been really easy to unlock, but maybe this is a new model and Philips has been corrupted by Hollyweird into not giving out this information any more.
