Here's my issue... I've got a 1080p mkv movie that can't play smoothly on my Macbook Pro, yet 720p videos play like sex. However, it's a foreign movie, and if I burn in the subs it looks like complete crap. This is the best I've gotten so far...
I used Quicktime Pro to extract the sub track, converted the video, and then added the sub track to the video and resized that to the size of the video. This looks good, however it ALSO plays really choppy because it's resizing the sub track on the fly and treating it as a video track.
Since I have the video converted already, the best thing would actually be if there was a way I could resize the sub track to make it look smooth yet keep the transparency somehow.
Anyone have ANY idea how to do this? I've been messing around with it for over a week with no success so far...
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
