  1. I've had my burner for a few months now and I want to know if there is an easier way to convert AVI files, and burn them onto 700 MB CD's, than the ways presented on this site. I've tried a few different ways so far one was TMPGEnc program, and it always gives me an error when I try to upload the AVI files. Also I was wondering how many of these converted files can i get onto one CD, they are all approximately 1 hour long. 8)

    Thanks

Approx 76 minutes at straight VCD standard format.

I'd tend to believe if there were an "easier" way to do so, it'd be posted here as well. Don't you think ?

See all you'd need to see under CONVERT to the left

If it won't open your .avi's in TMPG, and you have the codecs installed, go to OPTIONS, ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS, down to the Vfapi Tab, then rt click on your DirectShow Filter, and increase it's priority.
