hello, extracted my American Pie2 DVD to my harddrive, used IfoEdit to rip the movie and main menu (only included the AC3 6CH audio stream).
needed to add VTS_01_0.IFO,VTS_01_0.BUP,VTS_01_0.VOB plus I also had to add VTS_02_*, VTS_03_*, and VTS_04_*, the movie is in VTS_06_*. then ran "Get VTS" on VIDEO_TS.IFO to make proper corrections (it hits/save all subsequent .IFO files too) from IfoEdit. was then able to play in PowerDVD.
when I went to burn the directory in PrimoDVD, it immediately pops-up with message "job terminated with errors". from what i've read this is due to my VIDEO_TS directory have problems in it. Primo doesn't tell you what the problems are, so that is what i'm looking for....a way to validate your VIDEO_TS directory to see if it is compliant and burnable.
I have been able to rip just the movie (no menus) and burn/play succesfully. was looking to try an include the openeing menu this time.
any suggestions/help would truly be appreciated. thanks!
