I am trying to go Hi-8 tape to this DVD recorder via S-video. There are gaps in tape between events. DVD recorder stops recording then. How can I get it to just record everything, or ignore no-signal times and just pick up recording again. I'd even be satisfied with a new chapter or scene at each tape gap. Recording SP to match with 2 hour tape time. Video and audio fine on what it captures - up to where it drops recording.
