    I have a DVD ''CINEMA PARADISO-director cut'' with close captions (english)

    In witch way can delete this closed captions and with reauthor the DVD to put a another subtitle(not closed)?

    Can i rip this closed caption to sychronize with new another witch i am going to put??

    Yep. Rip the closed caption with vsrip. Resync and make new srt subs. Add the new subtitles to the dvd using https://forum.videohelp.com/topic338721.html .

    thanks but at firt i want to delete this close captions!!!

    and then i put the other subtitle (not close caption)

    how can i delete the first close caption please???

    In the US at least, closed captions are part of the video stream. However, in my limited experience, when video is re-encoded, the user data, including closed captions is not preserved.

    You may be able to get rid of closed captions by re-encoding the video, but there are some problems with doing that. There may be some loss in quality, plus it is time consuming. Try it on a short section and see if the result is acceptable, before attempting this on the whole movie.

    There are also two flags in the IFO which could be disabled to prevent someone from turning on closed captions, although they will still be present in the video, and some software players might still allow one to play them.

    [Edit] I can't imagine how I forgot this... If the TV has a closed caption function, disabling the flags in the IFO won't prevent closed captions from being displayed when it is turned on. That trick only works when the DVD player is the only device that determines whether closed captions are shown or not.
