How do i get my questions answered on these forums

i have been wanting to ask a question and can't figure out where to; so i'l try here.

i bought a Phillips DVP 5140 and want to know if there is a way to STOP the "pause" logo (or what ever that is) and the others from showing up on the screen when i press the commands..

i want to layer photos on my DVD's using my Sima A/V Mixer and these get into the picture.
also,, when i zoom; the zoom dimensions appear too and are unwanted in my scenes.

can anyone help me?

very good post i will keep it in mind i am only new somtime sus new people dont want to bother people or dont understand the need for as much detail as possible we try to keep it brief. i will always put in as much detail as possible when i have a query now.
