Hi people, my family and I want to restore some old home videos, i'm good at editing software and such, but not so experienced at restoring the image on old tapes. So i read through a couple forums, and came out with this combo:
1. Pinnacle studio MovieBoard Capture card (already have, wicked capture card)
2.AVT-8710 (TBC device)
3. SCC Pro Color Corrector /proc amp (correcting washed-out color)
4.VIDICRAFT DETAILER III (to really boost the details)
This combo is pretty cheap, especially since it will be split between a few people. But I just want to get an opinion from the pros out there. Going with these three items at a lower budget price a wise decision? Or should i be adding/replacing anything on this list? (except capture card).
According to what I've read about these products and what they're worth, this should give me a pretty outstanding result for a not so expensive price.
