In the past, I used the 29.97 fps settings with Microsoft DV AVI and rendered titles to video, and results were great. I also applied effects and the result was smooth.
Now I am trying to render on 23.98 fps on Huffyuv digital video and the result is jerky titles whenever they move. This is especially obvious when the titles zoom from the background of the screen to the foreground.
The same is true whenever I do any effects to the screen such as the zoom boxes option under transitions, the result is jerky, almost like frames are being skipped.
Any ideas?

Yes, I did that in VirtualDub initially. The video file was originally 29.97 fps and I converted it to 23.976 fps. Then I took that video and added the titles to it in Premiere.

The video itself is perfect. I am talking about the titles, not the video itself.

Like Soopafresh and Guns1inger, I am scratching my head about the conversion from 29.97 to 23.976 fps. You should always try to maintain the integrity of the original footage, if possible. Nevertheless, your issue may also have something to do with field dominance of your titles. How are you creating and generating titles?
