Is there any way to get my DirectTV system to play each episode stored on its hard drive to play one after another AUTOMATICALLY while I'm asleep? I use DirectTV and have a new Panasonic EZ27 DVR machine connected to the system. I often record ALL the episodes of various TV series to the DirectTV's hard drive. Now I want to move them from the hard drive of the Direct TV box so I can record them on DVD discs. DirectTV's method of recording individual episodes in a series is to pile all the episodes of the series into a folder. To watch them I have to open the folder and select the episode I want to watch or record (manually, one at time). I want to copy the shows at night while I'm sleeping so I won't be able to start playing the next show in the folder as the prior one finishes. There are ten episodes in the series I'm copying now and I bought dual sided discs that will hold almost the whole series. HOW do I tell it to play them sequentially? (I emailed Direct TV and they said they have no plans to include this feature in the future. Duhhhh.) Thanks for your help with this.

No offense, but if DirecTV told you the unit doesn't support this feature, do you really think it is still possible? Of the various units that I've used (from both SAT and cable vendors), none of them would playback files the way that you want. They all playback a single title at a time.
