I have a commercial I created in AE CS3 and I need to transfere it to a MiniDV says Comcast. Can I use my PC and a MiniDV camcorder to do that and what do I need. Any special camcorder, cards, cables, software, etc?

    Thank You in advance,
    Agon

I haven't done that, but I believe WinDV can transfer DV back to a camcorder. Others may have better info.

    And welcome to our forums.

So long as the file is DV.avi, WinDV can play it to your camcorder over IEEE-1394 and you can record any part of it.

If AE CS3 has a "print to DV tape" function similar to Premiere, you can do it from the timeline.

    WOW!..

That was exaclty what I needed to know. After reading the replies I went out today and bought a Canon ZR950 MiniDV and a miniDV cable. Rendered the video to AVI which was already 720x480 NTSC/DV then loaded the AVI into Premier and then used the "export to tape" function as said above and BANG!!! there it was on MiniDV cassette.

Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You
