    dear all:

    this could be simple and you may find it lame but i m facing problems .

    i have taken a dvd (video) backup to my laptop, now i want it to burn it on the dvd and watch it on the dvd player with family. but now the problem i am facing is i have burn the dvd and when i play tht dvd to the player the player is not getting its response and says no disc found. and same dvd is running perfect in the desktop dvd and windows media player is able to play it fully.

    now what should i do and what software or what extra files should i copy to play this on the dvd player.

    please do reply to the topic, thanks in advance.

    First you need to provide more information

    1. is this a commercial disc, or a private, unprotected disc ?
    2. How did you copy it to your HDD ? (Software, process etc)
    3. What did you have on your HDD that you burned ? (file list)
    4. What software did you use to burn the files to DVD with ?
    5. What media did you burn to ? (Media ID would be best)

    3. What did you have on your HDD that you burned ? (file list) (the whole folder and couple of big files in gigs)
    4. What software did you use to burn the files to DVD with ?(Nero 8)
    5. What media did you burn to ? (Media ID would be best)(sony dvd)

    Install Imgburn.

    Select Write Files/Folders from the main menu.

    Select the Video_TS folder. Imgburn will see this and know you are burning a DVD Video disc and configure itself accordingly.

    Burn and test.
