  1. Hi, I was wondering does sound preview along with video in AviDemux? I know that my .avi has audio when I load it in, but for the life of me, I cannot get AviDemux to recognize it.

What I am actually to do is find a program that can resize my .avi files with black borders to compensate for my Tvs overscan. Vdubmod will work on some .avi but it doesnt like something about some of these newer ones. AviDemux has the option to add borders which is what I need, but obviously I need sound as well.

    Any advice?

    Thanks if advance!

What is AVI Demux saying ? Or is it that you simply can't hear anything ?

If it is the latter, Edit->Preferences->Audio Tab : Set Audio Output to Win32

If you are getting an error message then you really need to tell us what it is, or we are just guessing.

You might also use G-Spot or MediaInfo to confirm what sort of audio codec you may be missing.
