    Does AVIAddXSubs re-encode, or just merges subtitles with the video and audio?

    I am not a pro but to except in a DVD Video that have an IFO file, all other medias like avi to hardsub it is necessary to re-encode...

    Dont worry it wont lose much quality.

    It doesn't reencode. It adds switchable subtitles into an .divx.
