I am going to be taping some tv series and want to know what brand of VHS tape is the best to use. Highest dependability and quality. I heard not to use cheapos, like panatek, and LDK. But I saw a 10 pack from RCA that seem okay, has anyone tired that brand or know of a good affordable brand.
Any suggections would be appreciated.

RCA isn't much better. I've always had good luck with TDK And Maxell tapes. Though use the silver or whatever its called. They have different grades, I normally grab the one above standard.

Videotape?!?!? I normally go with TDK but not the standard one as they suck. The one right above standard is pretty good. JVC tapes are also pretty good at all grades (but they don't sell them where I buy my tapes, they used to).
