    I am trying to figure out how to display more file information when I either select a file or place the mouse over it. For instance, when my video server ran Windows 2000, I could demux OGM files, place the mouse over the file and it would tell me all kinds of information. Below is a picture of what my CPU is showing and I know this can be changed because my other computer (video server) shows what is in the picture but also has the "date modified" info as well.

    if you allow windows shell installation this one will give you info with right clicks. might work with a hover also.

  3. Right Click on the column headings in the Window, then select whatever (msft) thinks you might need to know.. not too many video related bits , but see what you like. And move your TaskBar to the top of your display its far more ergonomic.

    You might try MediaInfo. It has a mouse over function that will give you quite a bit of info about a video file.
