Hello everybody
I have installed a trial version of one program, it uses WordPad as a default text editor.
Then I uninstalled that program and it must have triggered uninstallation of the WordPad, I no longer have it on my computer.
Soon after that NotePad had also disappeared.
Can anybody suggest if there is a way of getting them back without having to reinstall the Windows?
I use a legal WXP Home and, of course, I have a CD
Thx: walter

you can try re-installing. go to control panel/add-remove programs/add-remove windows components. it a tab on the left of the panel. hopefully they are in there...

Thanks Aedipuss, it worked,
I find it weird that a prog, which uses someone else's app, would remove it when uninstalled
